Fernando R. Landa, Jason Hull Recognized in Annual 40 Under 40 Tribute

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – In its annual tribute to the City’s top young business leaders, San Diego Metropolitan magazine will recognize two Trigild executives- Fernando Landa and Jason Hull – at its 40 Under 40 Luncheon, to be held Tuesday, Sept. 13 at the San Diego Convention Center.

This is the 12th consecutive year that this monthly business magazine has paid tribute to outstanding young San Diegans who have made significant contributions to their community, companies, organizations and/or institutions.

According to Bill Hoffman, president and CEO of Trigild, both Landa and Hull are important members of the Trigild team, and well deserving recipients of this recognition.

"Jason and Fernando are hardworking, talented members of our corporate team- and both have consistently played an instrumental role in the continued growth and success of Trigild," he said.

An accomplished real estate professional and attorney, Landa serves as Trigild’s corporate counsel, providing key legal and strategic expertise to Trigild company management- developing and negotiating commercial contracts and leases, serving as receiver, and representing the company in court hearings. He was the recipient of the 2010 Associate of the Year Award presented by the San Diego Building Industry Association- receiving the accolade based on his considerable industry and community involvement, as well as exceptional efforts on specific projects.

A LEED accredited professional, he was also an associate with London Group Realty Advisors, providing strategic consulting services and financial analysis for real estate developments and investments throughout the Southwestern U.S. and Mexico, a consultant for Pacific Equity Partners, LLC, and a public policy analyst with San Diego Regional Development Corporation.

Landa holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in history and political science from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Science degree in real estate from the University of San Diego (USD) School of Business Administration and a Juris Doctor, with concentrations in real estate and corporate law, from USD School of Law. Prior to joining Trigild three years ago, he was a senior acquisition director with Interwest Capital, a real estate firm that acquires distressed debt and real estate, and was also a development coordinator and senior analyst with Cherokee Investment Partners, a real estate private equity fund that specializes in mixed use developments of environmentally contaminated properties.

In addition to his considerable skills in real estate management, operations and strategic planning, Hull served over six years as a U.S. Navy SEAL, and was decorated for valor in both Afghanistan and Iraq. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, he earned his MBA at Duke University.
