Regional Project Manager / Business Development Directors

Job Description:
Trigild is seeking Regional Project Managers/ Business Development Directors for Chicago, Florida, and the Northeast (DC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, or NY based). Must be able to travel up to 30% of time. A solid background in commercial real estate and excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Property Controller w/ Hotel or Property Management Experience

We are seeking an experienced individual with strong management and leadership experience. Candidates must have a strong understanding of accounting principles and working knowledge. Additionally, this individual must have managed people not just the functions of the department. This individual should have an understanding of conducting employee reviews, suggesting further education and growth of your department. In addition, excellent oral and written communication skills are required as this position requires communication with the property management companies’ personnel.

The Property Controller is responsible for daily management of the general accounting department, supervision of staff, and preparation of various monthly account analysis and reconciliations. This position will also provide support to the Controller in day-to-day finance/accounting/compliance/project control activities in regard to overall company objectives.

Primary Job Functions:

  1. Supervise General Accounting Staff
  2. Enforce timelines
  3. Communicate with third party accounting staff
  4. Responsible for Revenue aspects and monthly Revenue Recognition process and postings in accordance with GL
  5. Supervise Accounts Receivable billings and collections process
  6. Supervise Accounts Payable process, including expense report process
  7. Review and Approve Accounts Payable Vouchers, including account codings
  8. Responsible for Fixed Asset module process and postings
  9. Prepare needed journal entries and review/approve staff journal entries
  10. Prepare all bank reconciliations
  11. Prepare/oversee sub-ledger to general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets
  12. Participate in development and administration of corporate as well as business unit accounting policies
  13. Participate in financial statement production processes, under direction
  14. Familiarity with internal control requirements
  15. Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet software skills

Education and/or Experience
Minimum of five years experience in accounting, with at least two years of direct supervisory experience. Bachelor’s Degree in accounting/finance/economics is required. CPA not required but desired. Accounting software experience with Great Plains is highly desirable.
