Trigild Increases Management Staff To Accommodate Growing Portfolio
Seasoned Commercial Real Estate Industry Professionals Tapped to Oversee Growing Client Base
SAN DIEGO, CA -- To accommodate its growing portfolio of receiverships, Trigild -- a distressed property management and loan recovery specialist headquartered in San Diego -- has hired Michael Dorris and Jules Sherwood as senior project managers.
According to Bill Hoffman, president and founder of Trigild, both have been tapped to work closely with senior management to evaluate and manage non-performing assets, working at various locations throughout the country.
“We are thrilled to have both of these accomplished professionals on our team,” Hoffman said. “Both have impeccable credentials and a stellar track record in the commercial and residential real estate arenas.”
Prior to joining Trigild, Sherwood was land development manager/project engineer for Shea Homes in Phoenix, acting as the company's first ever in-house contractor, as well as coordinating with municipalities and utility companies to expedite entitlement and construction document review. In addition, he was a project manager/land development manager at KB Homes in Phoenix -- working on the entitlement process and developing land into finished land for single family and multi-family use.
A former Navy Lieutenant, Sherwood holds a Master of Business Administration in finance from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in economics and business management from Cornell University. An ironman triathlete, he is also a certified Master Scuba Diver and lives in Phoenix, AZ.
A seasoned real estate professional as well as an attorney, Dorris previously was a senior manager for Opus West Corporation, working out its San Diego office to handle land acquisition opportunities, analyze investments, oversee outside attorneys and brokers and review/approve property management budgeting. He was also a development associate for Trammel Crow, where he was in charge of pre-development, construction and marketing for one of the largest real estate development and investment firms in the United States. In addition, he honed his legal skills as an associate attorney for De La Parte & Gilbert, a full service law firm in Tampa.
Dorris holds a Bachelor of Art's Degree in philosophy from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida; a Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida and a Master of Business Administration in finance from Emory University in Atlanta. A licensed California real estate broker, a LEED accredited professional and a member of the Urban Land Institute and NAIOP Young Leaders Programs, he lives in San Diego.
